About Me
This is the digital portfolio of Brian Whitmire. I am 24 years old and currently live in Los Angeles, California. Originally from Atlanta, I made the move out west (March of '06) to pursue my goal of becoming a character animator for game cinematics and film. I can happily say that I have met that goal having accepted a position at Blur Studio as a character animator. It is an absolute pleasure to work along side such a talented team of artists! Because I am always in the company of such creative and driven individuals, I constantly find myself inspired and coming up with new ideas.
When I'm not setting keyframes, I'm usually either drawing or painting. I am always searching for that next idea, and often seem to fill my head with more artistic ideas than i can handle. I LOVE being outdoors, especially hiking, and hanging out with friends or both! Skateboarding is another necessity as well. Pretty much whatever it takes to get me away from the computer, I'm into. That's enough rambling for me. I'll keep this site as updated as possible, and thanks for visiting!
