Unwise – Progression

2011 - I get a lot of inquiries about what the different stages of facial animation look like as we begin to polish stuff at Blur, so I created this little example to show off the different stages. I apologize for not going into more detail as this was thrown together fairly quickly. The lighting/rendering was done by one of my CG Supervisors at Blur, the very talented Kevin Margo.

2010 – Blur’s latest! I played Lead Animator on this one! So much fun working with the latest facial capture technology, MOVA. A bit tricky implementing it into our pipeline but I’m extremely happy with the results! You can see my shots in the scene where the Dark Knight glides onto the rooftop and starts brawling. Enjoy!

Dante Superbowl Spot

2010 – I supervised animation for this super bowl spot and well as created the last two crowd shots. Phew! What a rush to get this one done and yet again, I couldn’t be happier with the final result! (Not a huge fan of the song that was chosen for this one but hey, it’s an interesting idea!)
